Happy Friday, my peeps!

DAY FIVE business trip. I am actually shocked how well I am doing with food. As I said before, when I am "on" I can do it. I have maintained the same food choices as if I were home. TOMORROW night is the staff dinner at an Indian Restaurant.

WHAT CAN I ORDER that will not screw me up? ANY IDEAS?

Another long day today, but I feel good about the work. I am teaching other therapists/practitioners how to work with complex trauma so they can go out and help more people in our world.


We hate the struggle but must never give-up or accept excuses!

Calorie Deficit, Protein and Weight training....top three items!

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto

Current Goals:
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 8-10 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Stick with the vegetarian dishes. I suppose you should avoid the paneer (but it’s wonderful) and go for things with lentils or chickpeas. So many tasty options.

Tips & Tricks: Avoid Kormas and naan. Don't feel obligated to clear your plate. Eat slowly (make talking the focus instead), and when full, put your napkin on the plate so that you're not tempted to continue to eat out of boredom while sitting there. Drink the glass of water if you need something to do with your hands. Then add 300-500 calories to whatever you log, as restaurants go heavy on olive oil and ghee. Good luck!
