I've always found that when I'm upset or frustrated a good walk to sort out my thoughts always works. Or a really good sweat that takes my mind off of my problems. Your baby sure loved that walk. Keep up the good attitude. We're all pulling for you.

Good morning Cindy. Walks are wonderful for anxiety, especially when accompanied by a cute little 4 legged friend. I have been trying to make sure my neighbor gets out and walks, just for the endorphin lift it gives her. She has been unable to get out for the last few days, due to a back injury, and I can really tell when I talk to her on the phone...she is weepy, much more tired, and anxious. I am hoping that today she feels well enough to get out of the house...it isn't healthy for her to sit around all day, alone, and think about what happened. I am so glad that you are feeling better, and yes, try to remember it will take a bit to get the meds back to therapeutic levels. I am praying for you, my sweet sis. Remember, God is holding you in His loving hands. HUGS!!!

Cindy, I agree about the Dandelions....they are one of the first bits of color to peek out after the long cold winter, and I find their beautiful yellow color makes me feel good!

Cindy, I've always thought that no matter what happens in the day, if I've gone for a walk or done some kind of exercise, at least I can say, "Well, at least I got some exercise in." I bet both you and Chico are all the better for that walk today. Good for you!

Stef, I'm sorry that your friend isn't able to get out and walk. I do understand what back pain can do to disable you. I had back surgery awhile ago and I still have to be careful. Praying that she gets some relief and will be able to start moving again soon. Thank you for your friendship 'sis'. Love and Hugs

Sandy, I like to have a check off list of things done for the day. It is nice to say that I've gotten some exercise in. Chico has given me more reason to get out and walk more. He is such a loving little dog. He is right by my side at all times and sleeps with my husband and I too. Thank you Sandy for stopping by my journal and your comments. Love and Hugs.

Hey Cindy - when I felt upset, sometimes I sit alone at my computer, and put on an online radio station...klove.com... and listen to christian music. I just close my eyes and lose myself in the moment. And by the time I'm thru, my anxiety is back to a normal level. Just thought you might enjoy at least giving it a whirl... never know, it might just help relax you too. Much Love.
