Last week I tried yoga with my cardio and I must say It works. I do yoga before I go to work and then hit the gym after the gym more yoga. With my workouts I change it up daily so my body stays confused and doesn't hit that plateau effect. So far I'm liking my routine. It keeps me energize through the day making to go to bed at decent time at night (thank god for dvr lol).

My food intake is getting a lot better. I eat plenty of fresh veggies, drink a least a gallon of water, and cut out fast food. I do have one weakness, fried chicken. Hey i'm sorry i'm perfect and fried chicken is delicious. I will say I've cut back I don't act like i'm garfield with lasagna. I mainly get a wing and i'm satisfied.

Overall, I'm feeling great with my progress. My wife has joined me with my workouts and she loves it. It's good to have my spouse with on my journey to better health.

Nice to hear your progress and especially glad that you found something that you and your wife can do together. As for the fried chicken - did you know it is safe to eat if you discard the skin (my husband hates it when I do that)?

Awww Maaann. The skin is the best part! But I think I need to go to counseling to get over my chicken addiction. Me and my husband are enabling each other. LOL Plus, it doesn't help when KFC's right across the street.

Fried chicken is good - ranks right up there with ice cream. The only two foods I actually miss.
