Sarah Randall's Journal, 16 Aug 21

Today I have very little energy whereas yesterday was the opposite. I didn't go on a morning walk and have been laying around. I used the Hula Hoopty for 10 minutes and got tired. I know I'm eating enough protein so it can't be that. I need to food prep but I don't have much experience doing it and it takes forever which makes me procrastinate. Everytime I look in the mirror, I look for some kind of change but I just see a fat ass staring back at me. I just feel really down on myself today. My doggie, Ziggy, even seems like he's sad, like I let him down by skipping our walk. I've been having cravings lately for sweets or fatty sauces and cheeses and pastas... I feel like I've worked hard to lose weight and I thought since I have a lot to lose it would just melt off initially then get harder to shed the weight after losing some but that's what I get for thinking!
I'm just going to keep tracking and tomorrow is another day. Maybe I'll get in a video today or do an arm workout. It's just been hard to stay motivated and I've never been very ambitious in general. What a whiny journal entry.

It'll get easier I hope, to stay in a routine.
