One solid week of keto in the books! I'm not sure if it is the dietary change or the few nice days we had last week, but I'm feeling better than I have in months! I am seeing progress on the scale, I'm eating foods I enjoy and I'm staying in a deficit.

I like a sustainable LC diet too. Started on KETO now I just limit carbs at times (so easy to quickly over do them). Stay with it! Even better if you can add in some strength training! 💪 Good shedding!

60pack, strength training is something I would really like to get into! My gym has been closed for a year now and I just can't get into the headspace to do it at home. I'm hopeful that the gym will reopen soon. If not, I'll have to figure out a way to really self motivate and work on body recomp. I have tried keto off and on for the last 8 years - I'm not sure why I always end up dropping it. I love the foods that fit my macros and how I feel with this way of eating. Maybe this will be the time I stick with it for more than a few months at a stretch. If not, I still want to limit my carbs and avoid sugar as much as possible.

Good job! I could never be keto, or even low carb, but I’ve thought about reducing the amount of carbs I eat by a tiny fraction. That’s all I would do since my end goal is mostly plant-based, and mostly plant-based doesn’t go well with low-carb.
