DAY 7 of "The 100" by Jorge Cruise:

A revelation came to me this morning!
I didn't wake up hungry but 1 time this week,& then again this morning.
Last night I had eaten carbs,& more than this "trial" allows for.
For lunch today I finished the leftover Carb-meal & the rest of the day I had brain-fog & felt lazy.

All this week I had barely felt hunger yet felt good with plenty of energy & I was eating smaller portions than I was accustomed to & less often.

The revelation?
Altho' *I* or should I say my taste-buds celebrate to have carbs dancing on their tongue my body does *not* enjoy the association. And "bad associations spoils useful habits."--1 Cor.15:33
These words actually apply to the type of people we keep company with but the *principal* behind the words may be applied to this situation!

It is not the person themself that is considered "bad" & to be avoided but the action,*what* the person *does* that "spoils useful habits" (1 Cor.6:9-11) So,too,with the carbohydrates. There are some carbohydrates that have "actions" that "spoil useful habits" & these are to be "avoided". Looking at it from this perspective I think I have found the discipline I need that will, once & for all,keep myawethinTICself from putting weight back on! :D What a marvelous find :D

This week I will weigh every other day because the dots on the chart are so scrunched together,when weighing daily,that I have difficulty reading it.(even with 4 eyes!) :D

Hi again - I've been away for 2 weeks but your journal peaked my interest and I went back through the last week. Very interesting, I'm going to google Jorge and see what he has to say. Very good revelations, TIC! Thanks for sharing them. :D I've noticed the same thing -- that carbs cause hunger in the morning, and really drive water-weight gain. I'm hoping to see good regular weight loss without the carbs too. So far so good! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!
