Good morning darlings! Off to a great start with my weigh in this morning, 85lbs lighter than when I started and I can't bitch about that! I knew that the scale would inevitably catch up with me. This could be my transitional week! It better be. :-) I am two weeks away from my one year anniversary of embarking on this 'get healthy' escapade. I have been making mental notes and rehearsing for the speech I plan on giving on that day, keep your eyes peeled. I know I won't make one hundred pound's in one year, but that was never my goal, just would have been cool. Ninety would just be insane, but at this stage of the game I'm well aware that I'll get what I'll get... and I will learn to like it lol. I didn't think I had it in me one year ago, to get where I am now.
So my weekend has been pretty unremarkable. Had to run to Wal-Mart yesterday to get dog food for the beast. My husband and my son both picked out delicious candies from the check out aisle, and it being my TOM I was dying for some chocolate too. I grabbed a thing of snickers miniatures and tossed it on the belt. The packaging said 190cal and I thought that wasn't too bad. Then I picked it up to look at it closer and saw that was only for half the package. Like I'm going to eat just half, lmao. I put it back. My husband didn't question me when I picked it up, and didn't question me when I put it back. He gets me, lol. We stopped at a gas station and he came out with a special dark chocolate bar for me. That's why I love that man. I managed to only eat half (95cal) and the other half is still in my Jeep. Craving satisfied.
Had dinner at my moms, pork roast and baked potatoes. I didn't weigh any food (I'm not going to be the crazy person who packs up her foodscale for dinner at moms haha). I just kind of eyeballed it and watched portions, I think I did okay. Had two glasses of red wine. Scale agreed that I did well, and everybody wins.
Today I have too much to do. I should go visit my grandma, I have to go grocery shopping, and I want to get in a 5K. We will see how all of that goes. I'll keep you posted on the events that transpire in my suspenseful life lol. I know you're all on the edge of your seats :-)
Have a wonderful day guys <3
