I had Paul put the scales away. I will get them out on Sunday. It is stressful not seeing the weight. I know though that I am looking different. My stomach is not puffed out. I love doing the crunches. I really am feeling good. It will be nice to see the 180s, I think then I will really feel like I have done something. I was 193 when we adopted our son in May so when I get below that I will really be amazed.
I bought a 365 day Bible. Buying is the easy part. When I read the book Made to crave the purpose was not just to lose weight. It was to gain a stronger relationship with my Father. That is the ultimate goal, weightloss is great but that is not my main reason I am doing this. So 3 days ago I started reading it. Last night on our drive home I found myself actually craving it, wanting to read it asap. I couldnt wait to get home and dive in. Unfortunately, I was so exhausted when I got home I fell asleep before I could read it.
I am determined to make this a new lifestyle change a lasting one too not some fad. God is not a fad, He is my Father that I hardly know. I need to know Him.
Things I am grateful for
1- the hunger that only God can quench.
2- the good feelings I feel.
3- A Father who loves me for me, not for what I have done or what I will become.
4- my health

Be blessed
