I understand the not wanting to track calories part. It gets tedious after a while. More power to you!

Yes Eldetiker that is why I strayed away from it. But I'm finding it to be interesting while watching what I'm actually doing.

I'm pretty sure I'll have to be a calorie tracker all my life. If I'm not "dieting," I'm GAINING.

I understand what you are saying Debbie. And I'm finding out for sure, I really have to watch myself. I believe what they say about the age. Because I'm in agreement with another FS member who said it is getting harder. I used to drop weight just like that. Now I'm shaking my head saying what dah what is really going on here lol. But we got to keep doing what we do. to get where we want to go. Have a great weekend you two.

Sometimes tracking does get tedious. I have found in the past when I got tired of tracking & stopped I eventually started eating more...a little at a time & gained back the weight I'd lost. I've been at it this time around since July 2019. I've been in maintainence since March 2020. For some reason I haven't gotten tired of tracking. I occasionally log a meal after the fact, but I like to know where my calories are at every day.

SherryeB you are on to something right there. As this is what happen. Now I have been trying to figure out how. I managed to drop from 221lb to 160. 7 yrs. never did reach my goal which was 150 or is. But then I was again struggling back and forth with the 160 to 170. until now those last 10lb have just been something to drop. I dropped a few and gain . lol. but this time I'm determined to do things a little different that times past. Thanks for your comment. That may be one way for me to look at this thing when it come to tracking.
