Today is my usual weigh in day, but I'm going to hold off for another week. I'm feeling really bloated today and just heavy, that's enough I don't need a bad weigh in to make me feel worse about my progress. I know I'm getting more exercise in and eating better than I was a few weeks ago, but I feel like I'm going in the wrong direction. Not to mention my pants are tight, that's a bummer.

I'm looking at my food very closely and I know I need to make some changes there. I'm going to try to start planning my lunches out better, no more frozen dinners. And, I need to change the way I snack in the evenings. I just need to find some will power to say no to junk food in the evenings, and I know if I can stick with it for a couple of weeks it will just start to become routine.

My exercise has been good the last couple of weeks, I'm starting week 3 of Insanity. Now, if I can get my eating to match my exercise I'll be doing great. But, I know I need to move more than I am. I try to get out of the office for 30 mins every day just to go walk around a store or something, but otherwise I'm sitting for most of my 8-9 hours. If I had an office I could get up and do some jumping jacks, or squats, or something, but no, I'm right up front, out in the open, and I'd probably scare people. I'll have to think about something to do during my work day.

Well, enough of my pity party. I am going to be positive and I know I can make the changes I need to make, so now it's time to do it!

You never know, maybe you will inspire some of them to join you in the jumping jacks. LOL! Exercise has been known to increase your mental acuity. Getting out to walk around a store also gets you away from work and allows you to distress a little which is also helpful when trying to lose weight. Keep trying. Think outside the box - any stairwells that you could climb stairs in?
