mars2kids's Journal, 28 Jan 14

I am feeling okay today, still plugged up, but not horrible. But, I have a huge sore on the roof of my mouth and that is causing me all sorts of pain. I don't know where it came from, but probably a side effect of the sinus issues. Yuck!

I'm going to get my workout in this evening, it's a short one, but intense. I'm going to try to keep my eating under control too. I really want junk today, comfort foods are calling to me, but I'm going to try to stay strong. The sore in my mouth will help with that too I'm sure.

I'm patiently waiting for my brother's fiance to have their baby. She was due yesterday, but nothing yet. I can't wait to meet my new niece! Here's hoping I'm feeling better before she's born so I can hold her. :)

Happy Tuesday!

Awe, early congrats to the new aunt!! I miss babies!! Glad youre feelig a little better, sick is no fun. Just remember those comfort foods are not going to comfort you, theyll just leave ya worse than you were. I have some orajel for mouth sores that works miracles, you should look for it. It has medicine in it to heal them quicker.

I agree about the oragel for mouth sores. It hurts at first then kinda numbs the area. Keep up the will power! Hope you feel better soon.

I go old fashion when it comes to mouth sores and use Alum (it's a seasoning). It makes your mouth water, but my mouth sores are usually gone within 2 days. It's something my grandmother taught me.
