We just got back from our afternoon walk. I was so excited to see Fricasee, our neighborhood chicken 🐓. She has been MIA for the past couple of days & I feared the worst. She was happy to see Hubby & get her chicken scratch 😊
I discovered yesterday, I had skipped ahead & read the book for next month's Book Club. The one I was supposed to read has a bunch of holds ahead of me at the library. 😒 I have a week to figure it out before I need to have read it.
We enjoyed the Zac Brown concert we streamed last night. Zac is a hometown boy. He went to HS here & lived here til he made it big. He still has a weekend cabin. Then we watched Tues. nights episode of the Voice. Lots of laughs!!
It was sunny & warm again, today. Instead of raking leaves, I blew them with the hand held blower. Of course, they continue to fall, so it will need to be done again before I know it.
Hubby has his colonoscopy on Friday so his intake will be liquids only. I have to be there to drive him home, so I get to get up early & sit in the car til after his procedure.
Tonight, I'm planning stir fry with some sirloin steak & broccoli 🥦 Hubby went out to pick a few things up at the store & came home with a Strawberry parfait dessert. Guess he's making sure he gets a treat before tomorrow.
