@Narla Rakesh, yes maintainence period is required after deficit period to help reduce fatigue, boost metabolism and reduce harmonal imbalance, ideally deficit period should not exceed 12 weeks. And deficit period should always be followed by equivalent maintenance period. With maintenance period our body tries to adjust itself in reduced weight. Whatever your weight after deficit period, try to maintain that weight and then again go for another deficit period to shed remaining weight. This helps in loosing weight and keeping it off for long term.

good one..thanks .
Most of them will stop diet after deficit period, which results in gaining more weight than before.. So maintenance period is much required for our body..
So 3 months for calorie deficit and 3 months for maintenance period..

Did You change Your Maintenance Calories After every Week ?
31 Oct 20 by member: Aditya Rathi
|
@Aditya, yes, mostly because I'm still trying to find my maintenance calories. when I still lose weight after 1 week, I increase my calorie intake.. and if I'm gaining weight I reduce my calorie intake
