Well, I have been up since 3 AM, having a hard time sleeping tonight so I thought I would make a quick journal entry and then maybe try again to catch a couple hours before I had to get up and start the day. A lot of things going on this week. I have just started the second retirement - most people make it to one retirement and then that is it, however about a year after I retired I got a call from a high ranking official asking if I could go to work and help them fix a few problems at a different organization, so I worked there for another 4 years trying to get things to a point where they didn't need me any more - there is a lot to that story. SO now I am retiring again. I have so much to do to get settled in, but now I have gotten a call from a few groups asking me to run for a political office in the next elections. I told them I would be interested but I needed to think about it. I guess some of us just are not destined to retire. Oh well, let me try to go back to bed and sleep for another hour before my alarm goes off. I promised a guy doing an investigation on a local government Board that I would give him a summary today of my thoughts on this organization. Have a good week, all!!
