I am also trying to figure out what diet you're on. You complained the other day about high salt intake, and we know you gave up dairy. As far as your "Eternal Organs" -- were you caught noshing on a human? Cannibalism is a diet in some countries. 😜

I’m on a low carb diet. My neighbor was freaking out about not eating enough whole grains and how that will give me colon cancer and blocked intestines. This is, of course, after she tells me I look great and asked how I had lost so much weight this summer. Remind me to take my trash bins to the curb the night before in the vast darkness of midnight so I can avoid people.

People have so many misconceptions about low-carb. I love how people who have never read any of the research and aren't doctors suddenly become experts on gut health (a highly debated area, with contradictions everywhere) when it comes to low-carb or almost no-carb diets.

Dr. David Harper has written in BioDiet about how plant foods are NOT necessary for everyone. A doctor friend recommended the book to me. She isn't a "low-carb evangelist" or anything like that, but she does think keto/low-carb are highly effective and metabolically healthy for certain people (like, the millions who are metabolically unwell in the U.S, India and China).
