Shame spiral incoming, and I didn't even blow the calorie count on the diet. Was down yesterday by 1.8 pounds and then pushed right back up by 0.8. For some reason that made me furious with myself. I give up easy when it comes to healthy living. One day of bad results and I'm off to Taco Bell because fuck it, I'm up. Dumb as it is, that's exactly what happens every time. Ugh. Not even up by that much, but I have no dedication to bettering myself because I feel like everyone around me is indifferent to my wanting to change.

Keep going! You got this! I experience the same thing. Of working so hard and being so good and then I step on the scale and I’m up. Hands fly in the air and I eat a DQ blizzard. But weight will fluctuate from day to day. You got this! We got this! Encouragement is what we need.

You know, this could only be water weight! I'm sure you're great. Our weight tends to vary quite a bit during the day, especially after showers, working out or eating and before going to the bathroom. All of this plays a role on your weight. Don't be so hard on yourself! 0.8 lbs is a ridiculously small amount of weight. Could've simply been from taking off your shirt or something. If you want something more accurate to measure your progress, just look at yourself in the mirror, take pictures and sure enough, week after week, you will see a difference if you keep this up. I know you can. Another thing I would suggest is an impedence test. This measures your fat percentage, your muscle percentage and your water weight. It's great for the improving aspect because you can really see how close you are to your goal, what you need to work on more, etc. You can do them for free at most gyms. Anyways, good luck. You are worthy of this and you deserve this. Give this to yourself. You're a good person.

Just remember: You are the one who controls your mind. And the only thing standing in your way is yourself. You can take better care of yourself than anyone else can. We all believe in you!!!
