Switched to Weight Watchers today. I'm interested to see how this works vs the low-carb diets. It's getting cold outside so I need more warm foods, most of which (besides soup) have more carbs in them, so lets see if the Points are better than carb counting!

I did weight watchers and it worked for me...but it was just too slow. Don't expect to lose weight immediately because you're adding carbs back in. But it'll come off. I think I averaged 1 lb a week.

But the upside was I could eat whatever I wanted, just in smaller portions. That was great. Good luck with your new plan.

I've done WW for just over a year now and it has certainly worked for me. So I hope you enjoy the greater "freedom". If you're going from Atkins to WW, it may be that you gain a little initially through re-introducing more carbs to your diet. But don't let that deter you! ;o) I have no doubts that basing your diet on WW core foods even if you follow the flex points plan provides the best results. So just keep those "wasted carbs" like biscuits and cakes to a minimum and I'm sure you'll be fine. I wish you every success on your change of plan though and if you need details on the points plan you can find some links within the "Weight Watchers Losing It" community group. Happy losing!! :o)

I did the same, switched from SBD to WW. It is so much easier for me, to have my meals planned out, and get all my points calculated for the day. I still keep light string cheese and stuff around, because the protein IS good at keeping the appetite at bay. Good luck to ya! So far i've been doing pretty good. I wish you the best!!
