It's rainy again this morning, and all I want to do is sleep.......
Mostly because I was up until 3 am. I am really going to have to force myself to go to bed earlier!!! I only woke up because my mother called. Sheesh!!! I wanted to stay in bed because it was so comfy, and I didn't hurt anywhere!!!

My going to physical therapy has been enlightening. We are trying right now to tighten and strengthen my core muscles, to help me get around better. When my little therapist was manipulating my leg, to get more range of motion, we are discovering that it is mostly arthritis pain, and that it is fairly prevalent in that hip. Soooo, I guess I'll have to deal with it and see what I can do to naturally to lessen the inflammation and to loosen some of the muscles in the surrounding area.

Gives me something to research today!! I knew that I had osteoarthritis in that hip, I have it in both, and my back, and hands, and knees, and ankles....
Damn Arthur just will NOT leave!!! I even put out a restraining order on it and it STILL comes back!!!

Please don't think that Arthur is a real person......that is my nickname for Arthritis. I have to be a little sarcastic and joking when it comes to pain. Thats one of the ways I deal with it.!!! you have several choices where constant pain is concerned. You joke about it, you dope yourself silly with pain meds, you bitch constantly and take no meds, you bitch AND take meds, the list can go on. I choose to take some meds, not be doped to the gills, and to laugh at it, and about it!!

Thats what works for me, though on occasion I will moan about it a little.

On to a different, yet related subject. Reading food labels. Just what is that additive in my food??
I have been trying to research some food additives, and it is let us say, quite interesting. Interesting in the way of, just why are you putting that particular additive in my food??? One is tricalcium phosphate. The companies that use it say it is to make powdered items flow better and to not clump, and also it is to add additional calcium to that food or spice. Hmmmm. They don't tell you it is also used in making concrete!! OK, It is also shown that it doesn't add much in the way of absorbable calcium. Why is it in my food???

If it is in anything I want to buy, I put it back on the shelf. There is no logical reason for me to buy that item, when as far as I'm concerned, it has no logical reason for that additive to be in my food. The hubby thinks i'm being a little unreasonable with things like that, but I am finding out that some of these additives are linked to fibromyalgia. I'm also finding out that most of them have not been tested thoroughly for human consumption.

Time for me to go.....I still haven't gotten those tomatoes cleaned up and ready for canning. I hope I haven't lost much to the fruit flies. Have a great Wednesday everyone!!
