Ugh 2020. This is my first ever Journal entry, even though I've used Fat Secret (off and on) since 2013. I feel that it is time to put my goals "out there" given that 2020 has thrown some curve balls. First, the good news, when I focus on healthy lifestyle, practice portion control and exercise, then I achieve weight success. Now the bad news, With covid-19 shutting down all my rec leagues and gyms and being very busy working from home, my weight has ballooned - up 20 lbs in a couple months. About 2 months after the stay-at -home order, I developed gout in my foot. This incredibly painful condition was the first time that in my 40+ years, that my body physically was not up to the challenge. So... on June 22, 2020, I weighed in at 220.02 lbs, and have decided to put my heath first. Join me on my journey.
