I just wanted to throw something out there for all of us trying to lose weight. Just finished watching the biggest loser and these people train 7 days a week and eat heathy every single day, yet one of them this week didn't lose any weight. So if they can't lose any weight and they have more than available resources, we shouldn't get discouraged on those off days. Just a thought, b/se i was getting discouraged losing 1 lb. a wk. but come to think of it, who cares, at least i'm losing. so there it is, my 2 cents.

so today was a day for snacking - i skipped lunch and that's probably why i kept wanting to keep snacking. here we go.

You are so right about the Biggest Loser. I watched last season when Ali won-while she did amazing things that woman was working out 8 hours a day or more! That is INSANE! No one can possibly do that long term. I think it is nice that shows like that can help motivate people on some level but they are unreality shows when push comes to shove. If you look at some of those that lost a lot of weight in the past from The Biggest Loser they have gained much, if not all, of their weight back. This is the reality of what happens when you lost too quickly. A pound a week is great! Slow and steady wins the race!
