Journalling, that little look into your daily life., that you let people see how you are doing and how you feel
What is the whole point of journaling to you??? Why do you journal??? I do it, to give myself an outlet, for how I may be feeling that particular day. I do it to get my thoughts out on what I am doing to lose weigh, and to possibly help someone else. Helping is a by product of helping myself. I have always tried to help people, and sometimes I get slapped really hard (metaphorically) by the person I tried to help!! I kind of gave up on the real life front, trying to help. I just seem to keep on getting kicked in the teeth!!
I find, that electronically, that doesn't happen quite as often, and its much easier to shake off the hurt. I haven't' gotten that smack from any one here yet. I just have that in me, that urge to help. It isn't a bad thing. Everyone should have that urge. I just have to get the ability to recognise when someone really DOESN'T want help!!
I am going to write a smaller journal today...lol!! Not much to write about today. I know I have eaten out 3 different times this past 4 days!! And still managed to lose 2.5 pounds!! All about the choices!!! We ate late on Friday at Firehouse Subs (love this place) and we stopped at IHOP on saturday, and we stopped at KFC last night. I just have to get back on the cooking track!!!
But I had a chance to make good choices when eating out. Kind of gave me a little practice, on lifestyle changes. I also love the fact that I can still log what I eat at the restaurant, on my phone ap!! Tomorrow is going to be a fun time, not only at the surprise 60th anniversary party for my In-laws, but a good course on not stress eating!!! The get togethers my in-laws plan are indescribably chaotic!!
Lord, I love them all, don't get me wrong, but I am so glad we live 75 miles away from all the drama!!! Yep, that family is in a constant flux of drama!! My own family can do that from time to time, just not as much or as often!!!
Time to get to my housework today. I just have to do a little at a time, sit when I get winded, or the back decides to cramp up!!
