I began doubting myself. Everyone around me (on this site) is dropping weight and I started feeling rather self conscious. Even though I profess not being that interested in my weight and more interested in how I look, in other words my body fat percentage, it was still getting me down that my weight wasn’t dropping…
…and then last night! I’d missed the weights session in the morning but being the new determined me, I hit my home gym. I haven’t trained at home for a while now. One of the perks of training at home is that on a warm evening, you can take your shirt off and train, which it was – which I did. Low and behold whilst doing them weights I glanced down at the spot between my arm and chest meet and what do I see? A vein! Not just the ‘below-the-surface-I’m-so-blue-type’ vein, a proper bulging out vein! No! No! You don’t understand!!! This for me is huge! I’ve never (due to my condition) had sticky-out veins! Drawing blood has always been an issue because the nurse usually has to dig for a frikken vein and if there’s one popping, the others are coming! I’ve seen them being more visible on my arms but thought it was my imagination. No more doubt. I’m going in the right direction.
Ciao for now.
