With my boy:)... Well at least in the same town! He has his last final today so after we had dinner, he was off to study. I'm taking the car in for service then off to workout, and when he finishes his final, the packing will begin.
Being alone in my hotel room last night has been a time in the past that I'd have wanted sugar, & while the thought did cross my mind, I was luckily not that tempted. Taking these small steps to change my long-standing sugar habits are what I need to do to take care of myself. I'm sure it won't be the only time I'm tempted while I'm away, so i will handle one temptation at a time.
And the mindful logging has begun! I found an app for my iPad & iPhone called Eating Mindfullly - Eat, Drink & Be Mindful, which I'm using while traveling. I also brought a small pocket notebook, but think the app is pretty cool. I'll keep you posted.
So, I'll start my day praying for serenity (I haven't figured out on to cut & paste using my iPad -- yes, I'm quite technologically challenged) and will pray, breathe, log, post & express on this one day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time... All the while enjoying every moment with my boy! Xoxox
