Well done to you both. I'm finding it easier to lose with my partner's support, and he's finding it easier to lose knowing I'm there for him, and helping plan his meals.

Chestnut, yes we did, I lost around 30-40 pounds and he lost around 20-30. We didn't have a scale in the beginning, so I'm not sure of the exact amounts.
Rogue Angel, you're so right, I had tried on my own several times, but it wasn't until we both got serious about it that we saw some progress. I have a lot of respect for people who lose weight without a support system.
