I have not been on here lately, but I am doing pretty good. I started reading some stuff about overeaters anonymous. I found a lot of helpful advice and I found a group of people in my area to meet with. I think I will try it tonight. They use a 12 step program like alcoholics or narcotics anonymous uses. I have always had an addictive personality, so I figure this will help me out in more than one aspect of my life. I have finally got my husband to help me out. At first he wouldn't understand how important it was to me, but he is there for me now. I let him decide when I can have ice cream or junk food. We went out for blizzard from Dairy Queen yesterday and I was suprised that I was not even craving ice cream at the time. It was nice to not feel like a junkie needing a fix! Everyday I write down what I will eat for the day and it helps me to see what food groups I need to add or leave out for each meal. I have been doing pretty good at sticking to it. I really need to watch my portion sizes, but I'm getting there. I haven't gone on any crazy binges lately, so that is worth it alone.
