I have to wonder if I took popcorn out of my diet for a week or two if I would see a difference. I am addicted to the crunchy and the salty and I think eat it almost daily. The salt for one is not good for the scale and the carbs are not helping either. I know people have chocolate cravings, mine is salt for sure!! Here I am again having to get on the bike to try to burn some calories because I had popcorn right after dinner, I am definiately stress eating right. I suppose it could be worse, there has been a piece of cheesecake sitting in the fridge for two days that I have been eyeing, but have not been tempted enough to do it, way to many calories in those suckers, not worth it. I wish there was a button for stress so that we could turn it off. I need a hobby or something, sitting in the house is not helping. If it weren't so hot and humid I would take the kids to the park, but not even they want to be out right now.

Hey Mommy Twin - I feel you on the Hobby thing. I've even thought about going back to work outside the home just to get out! Cudos on ignoring that Tasty but verrrrrrry bad Cheesecake. WILLPOWER!! Oh and maybe try pickles for a salty treat. I'm the combo craver - wanting both salty and sweet (mostly chocolate tho) but I wouldn't hesistate to dip popcorn into chocolate. mmmmmm! Going stir-crazy like me? lol! We have a little get outside window to play with here - either before 8:30AM or after 7:30PM. So what shall our hobby be? hmmmmmm so far FS is mine HAHA!

I have been tempted as well to go back to work, but I have it kinda good being home, being to have the freedom to come and go ya know, especially here, winters can be iffy and if I dont feel like driving then I don't have to. I love pickles, but they give me agita. Speaking of salty and sweet, don't try the new pretzel M&M's, they are beyond evil -lol!! Hobby, dont know, if you think of something let me know and I will do the same, gotta do something though. When I worked in an office I did not have this weight issue, I was always so active and not really thinking of food, well and did not have it right in front of me all the time either. I don't know what will happen once both my kids are in school, my daughter will be in school full time and my son's preschool is every day in the mornings, so if my workload is light, I guess I will have no excuses as to why I can be doing some sort of exercise. BTW..my name is Jeanne, yours?

I've been going through the stir crazies as well. I finally decided to go back to work on the weekends just to have SOMETHING to do outside the house.

I've always worked outside the home before kids, even had 2 jobs at one time. I was never a home body..always on the go. But this IS our life now, so what are we going to do? EAT! LOL I'm kidding :D I will let you know if I come across a good hobby. So far I've tried 'couponing' which was suggested from someone on here. The stack of coupons is now forming dust on top of my dryer, but I will get to it. Also suggested was reading a good book, but with the kids home how could I possibly get some quiet time to read. But I'll keep searching. That's true about having freedom to pick up and go from working at home verses having to request time-off/sick days. Would you mind sending me some info on Medical Billing?
