Feeling good about a 3 lb weight loss so far. I know this being the first week and the fact that my poor feet were so swollen, this will probably be a week that has a pretty rapid weight loss. Need to prepare some more work breakfasts& lunches tonight when I get home. It makes all the difference in the world for me. If it's there & prepared, I stick to eating right. Also, need to make time for exercise tonight. It's been 3 days since I've started and still haven't made time.

Being prepared is a key element to success. I also read your previous post. Like you I always thought I was fat; even at 135 I thought I was overweight. I think we are too hard on ourselves and are always comparing ourselves to others instead of really seeing how we really look.

You are sooo right! I'm reading a book right now about really appreciating the present. Not waiting to be happy in the future (ahem..when I lose 100lbs, or wishing I was in the past when I was 100lbs lighter! ) It's an eye opener and I'm learning exactly what you posted..we are too hard on ourselves and compare ourselves to others, instead of cherishing the unique talents that we have.
I wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss. Looking forward to being able to say I've lost the amount of weight you have! (Although I am appreciating the moment right now! >;] lol!)
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. Sorry it took me so long to post back to you. I'm having a hard time figuring out when people submit a post to a journal or post of mine!
