I'm finally back on fatsecret. I've been away for awhile re-thinking my diet practices. I decided to continue going vegan but decided to stick with mostly plant-based foods so I've introduced more potatoes into my diet. I'm also snacking on fruits and vegetables.
To get some entertainment and information on taking on a vegan diet, I borrowed Skinny Bitch from the library. I only recommend this book if you don't mind someone seriously cussing and bitching at you for eating any foods associated with the standard American diet. I got so annoyed with the author's babbling that I just skimmed through it. The writing was meant to be straight up and I guess entertaining but it was simply poorly written. Getting my info from Dr. McDougall sites and books is much more helpful.
Anyhow, I've been strictly vegan for 4 days now and feeling great!
