Well, finally saw a specialist about my stomach issues. I go in Thursday for an endoscopy of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum (esophagogastroduocenoscopy, hahahha) They are going to stick a tube down my throat and examine things, perhaps take tissue samples.
I'm very nervous about this. I'm nervous about what they may or may not find. From what I gathered he suspects I may have Celiacs. Ok, even if I do, I don't eat anything with gluten! So, if that were the diagnosis there is little hope for me that things will get better. Will I have to live with this annoying (but sometimes extreme) pain the rest of my life?! So, I suppose I'm more worried about the results than the actual test itself.'
In the mean time, I bought some vitamins (raw one for women), calcium supplement, and organic psyllium husks (Fiber Harmony) as per doctor's suggestion.
