So yesterday and today I am not sure if I ate the correct things or not. I see my fat intake is huge and my net carbs are a little high. I think it was kinda the wrong thing to do, starting a diet thinking I knew what I was doing and didn't read the books. Well tomorrow I am starting the Atkins book I have and Monday going to buy a scale. After today I can see why they are important.

Tina, I just looked at your Food Diary for today and you did wonderful!! :D Yay for you!! If you look at the pie chart at the bottom of the page where you enter your food, it will show the percentages of calories that you got from carbs, fat and protein. I strive to keep mine at 5% carbs, 75% fat and 25% protein. Yours are almost exactly that!! You did a great job! I do see a lot of cheese in there though lol, but if it doesn't give you a problem with your weight loss, I say go ahead and eat it. And more veggies! Speaking from experience, not eating enough veggies will definitely constipate you, along with the cheese, and the scales will show that you've gained. Took me forever to get things moving again lol. But, all in all, I think you did very well today :D Good job!

You are starting out great!!! When I am reading about healthy life styles, I tend to do better. This site is wonderful too. I have a wonderful friend, we now live in different states, we usually text, FB or FS each other several times a day our ups and downs. A great support system in place is where it is at too!!!!! You are taking the "baby steps" and doing a great job!!!!!

Tina, I know nothing about Adkins but happy to see others who know about it helping you out :D Just remember, you CAN do anything you want, you got this! Get those veggies in though :D That part is hard for me too! I need to do better at this myself.
