Day 3 of 16/8. This is the first day that I have to work on the intermittent fasting. At first I was hungry this morning, but a single cup of black coffee suppressed that. My body is starting to adjust to this style of fasting. Though today I’ve come to the conclusion that intermittent fasting and calorie counting will have to be what I do for now. I will focus on adding more protein to my diet, but I can’t afford to worry about carbs other than trying to make sure I’m cutting them out. It’s too stressful when I can’t afford it. My wife is about to have surgery and our money needs to be spent sparingly. But I am not giving up. As soon as we are in a better place I WILL be working toward ketosis.

Well today is turning into my first 24 hour fast. I’m tired of being behind on money, so I’m working 15 hours today and tomorrow. 13 hours on Sunday. I have enough food for my first lunch today.
