Well, I went to physical therapy this morning and have discovered that my core muscles and hip muscles are extremely weak. The PT gave me some isometric exercises to do that will help me strengthen the muscles that should be strengthened. I also found out that I have compensated in how I move and use my hip flexors and back muscles more than I should. My job is to strenghten and exercise my gluteal and abdominal muscles to take some stress off my hips and back. So now I'm doing tighten and tuck exercises in my chair at work. She also wanted me to get a lumbar support for my back which I already ordered on Amazon. I will be seeing her weekly for a few weeks. Yahoo!
