DBakerrian's Journal, 10 Apr 19

Wow! Gained a pound overnight, and didn't really "splurge" yesterday. Very disappointed in my body.

What's going on? I don't really understand, but I'm sure it's not a trend. But feel very defeated when doing everything well and still not losing, but gaining. Makes me want to quit. Gives me a new appreciation for folks who have tens of pounds to lose, and the amount of patience that must take because it is such a slow, excruciating process to lose weight at all.

I am grateful that I only have 10 pounds to lose (my decision). And I know despite this setback I can persevere. I know what I want my body to look like and feel like. Current weight and health is not it. So, today, and every day until, onward!

I sometimes think not weighing everyday is better psychologically as we can gain water weight without thinking we are. I have learned to not get upset if I am a pound up, just figure it will disappear within a day or two. Yes,,, onward!
