Uuurgghh next time I'm tempted to have a footlong from subway someone PLEASE stop me! I've not eaten that much bread in months and what with the onions, chillis etc I felt like someone had inflated me! It's subsiding a bit now but goodness I was SO uncomfortable last night and first thing this morning.

My son woke with a high temp this morning and so he is off school today. It's just a cold but I'd rather have him here if he is on meds to keep the temp down. I'm very lucky that I am able to ahve him home without any problems, I really don't know how I'd manage if I had to go to work on school days. Anyway, he's home which has meant the yogalates has had to go by the wayside so far. I may manage to fit it in when he's gone to bed tonight but if not then I'll have to schedule it in for later in the week.

Did the weekly shop this morning so foodwise I should be set for the week. I'm going to make soup either tomorrow or weds and we've got ingredients for fajitas, chilli and spaghetti with tomoatoes and spinach :)

I hope everyone is having a marvellous Monday :)

Step away from the footlong sub! LOL. Next time you are tempted, just imagine all of your fatsecret buddies looking over your shoulder. Seriously, it wasn't that bad of an infraction other than the fact that you overstuffed yourself. And the weekend is over so you should be good for the week :) Hope your little one is feeling better. My not-so-little one is home sick today, too. I'm not sure if she is in need of seeing a doctor or not; she's in the borderline stage. I'll play it by ear. Enjoy all of your food you have planned for the week and I hope you get your yogalates in!

Evelyn's advice is great -- many times I've thought about eating something at night and the thought of having to type it in has stopped me. It sounds like you have a great menu plan for the week ahead!

That is a lot of food in one place, probably ought to stick with the six inch! Not all sanwhiches from subway are low fat too, remember! The meatball sub is over 1200 calories, as are several of the regualr subs. Any footlaong is going to be at least 600 calories, but generally more like 800, more with cheese and dressings! Sometimes knowing the calories is all it takes to make you back away from temptation! If calories for everything were posted on restaurant menus, i know they wouldn't be as successful.

lotus has an excellent point! I just looked it up... a footlong veggie delite is 450 cals... not so bad for an entire meal but I am positive that does not include cheese and dressings! anyway, now that you know how it made you feel, that shoulf help keep you away from it next time!

Next time if you're craving one of those subway's... just try and remember how it made you feel. Hopefully that will be enough to keep you away from temptation the next time. I know this now works for me, most of the time. :o) Hope that your son is feeling better soon.
