10/30/12

I'm back on track with my diet after the weekend. I also am staying away from the protein bars because they are not as satisfying. Small amount that tastes too good and usually causes me to eat too many calories. I am starting to worry about something though. I can see how my diet can get out of hand very easily and I'm worried that I will not be able to lose the weight or regain the weight whether I have the surgery or not. I certainly don't want to go through the surgery and regain the weight. I don't want to not have the surgery and regain the weight or not be able to lose the weight. My addiction to sugar is horrible and don't know how I'm going to ever be able to stay off of it for any prolonged period of time. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing, but I know myself too well and want to avoid any potential problems in the future.

Don't over stress yourself about it! Maybe make a list of things to have instead of the sugar snack. Keep the list handy and make sure you keep the better choices on hand. I did that and it really seems to help when that craving hits. Just take it day by day and choice by choice and you will do great!

I stay away from the protein bars too, don't seem to fill me up. Have you guys been to: www.theworldaccordingtoeggfaceblog.com? She had the bypass and has TONS of great receipes and ideas, I make alot of the stuff off her site and my whole family loves everything I make.

You can break the addiction, you just need to believe in yourself. You are taking a big risk to try to change and it is scary but worth it. Just keep trying and if you fail one day, it's not the end of everything, you just keep on renewing your commitment to yourself and you needs and wants every day. It will get easier the longer you stay committed to it.
