Well -- last night's dinner was not good....
There is a new tavern that just openned down the road a little ways. I had so been looking forward to it, since there is a dearth of good bars near-by, and I really wanted a good local watering hole to open up. The place wasn't great, but OK. It will take some getting used to as they develop there environment. But the biggest frustration is that the service was horribly slow and unorganized. I had decided to calorie-splurge and try a bunch of appetizers -- over 50 minutes later the food arrives - all but one item cold. The chili already had "skin" from sitting so long. Apart from not being hot with almost an hour in waiting, the food wouldn't have been bad, but man, it was a waste of calories. Time to hit the Elliptical...
