I've had an up and down week this week. I saw the physio on Monday and she sent a letter to my doctor about my muscle problem so I might actually be seeing some progress at last- it's only taken 4 years and 0 months! It all started when I was having my blood pressure done and mentioned a niggly pain on the inside of my knee, she said 'it's a vein dear' I wish! Over the years I've been told it's arthritis, so I put up with the pain thinking it's all part of growing older and I'll get a new knee eventually. Then when I went to the doctor earlier this year about the pain, she said let's look at your x-ray- what x-ray! This is where we found out I don't have the dreaded arthritis, but I didn't appreciated another physio treating me like a 3 year old and telling me 'your muscles go to sleep when you sit down'. So I've been to the knee clinic - for arhtritis people once more, it's not done much good. I decided to go to the gym for muscle strengthening exercises and so far so good and my physio has also written to my doctor about my request to see a specialist, so things are looking up now. On the eating front, my chest freezer decided to de-frost itself, hopefully all my veg is ok I moved it into the other freezer and squashed everything in, I only lost a couple of bread rolls I hope. I've got a bit fed up of what I've been eating and eaten what I felt like instead of what I should- result 1 packet of chocolate biscuits and 2 bacon butties later I've put a pound back on. Not to worry, back on track again now.
