Hi Scottyt23's, I'm 42 year young lady....I eat high fat and low carb. My question is.........I'm wanting to lose another 4 kgs and just cant shake it for the past 5 years. I drink on average about 3,5 litres water daily. I do weight training 3 times a week. I dont get it! I am stumped. What can I do to lose those extra 4 lbs??? All my carbs I get from veggies. A little insight would be appreciated. Ah yes I eat 1800 calories daily.🤔🤨🤨🤨🤯

38yc have you tried fasting ?

Hi there 38yc as i do not know all the variables to give you a proper breakdown for example what exercises youre doing and how long etc my best bet is to tick all the boxes..... 1. are you tracking your macros correctly( ie is it really 1800) 2. have you tried spicing things up with a bit of cardio (sometimes its just the secret ingredient to that last bit of fat loss) start small see how you go 3. if you dont already do, try fasting its a great tool especially to first timers 4.its all a game of numbers...some have better metabolisms than others so you have to feel it out..if all fails try lowering calories a bit more ( a bit more slowly and see how you go) please note this should be a last resort as no one likes eating less! 5.my personal opinion as i say i dont know how long you diet for etc but sometimes when i hit a plateau i spice up my metabolism by eating a bit more for a week or so, not going overboard just at about maintenance and that gives my entire body a break and leaves me feeling better for my workouts, no one should live in a constant state of dieting but i understand the frustration involved...maybe its time to just simply give your fat burning machine a break :) all of this is just my advise though and i hope it helps :) have a lovely day, dont hesitate to inbox me if you have any further questions x

GeekyGirl82 yes I've been fasting 8:16 for years! Thanks for suggestion. @Scotty23's yes I am tracking ever gram I put into my body🥑🥦🥥🥚. I do not do cardio so maybe your on to something there. I usually exercise 1.5 hours 3 times weekly. I might have to change my weight program up a bit. I'm just not sure what and how....but usually I do 15 reps x 5 of my dumbell workouts. In general I walk constantly daily as I'm quite active. ...but thank you soooo much...you've given me a few things to think about. Hehe and I dont like eating less.. more would be nice. Take care of yourself.

38yc this might be a shot in the dark but have you ever had your thyroid checked. Hormones can be little "rascals"

@LowCarbFemmeFit yes I had it tested a while back. Maybe it's getting to middle age spread.....😅😅😅 99.9% I eat healthy organic when possible. This is for about close on 7 years now. Just at a stall for ages now and I mean ages as in years.

Ok. Another suggestion. Instead of 16:8 which your body might have got used to either try OMAD or 36 to 40 hour fast... liquid only. I am an older young lady myself and a long fast is the only thing that works for me. Good luck!
