I am sick of myself. My addiction to sweets is out of control. I don't know if posting here is really helping or not. Could things actually be worse if I didn't? I guess it's good to have this time of reckoning because the rest of the day is spent in a fog of work and sleep.
I'm deteriorating physically, probably mentally too. I thought the hysterectomy would fix my problems, but now I have other organs prolapsing, and I may have to go back for more surgery. Disgusting.
I want to shed all this baggage around my core. I want to feel light and free. Think about that before you order dessert next time, dumbass.

I have a similar problem with potato products, specifically chips. I haven’t bought them in months but I think about them about every 2-3 days. It’s like an addiction.

You are NOT a dumbass! You will feel light and free again. You can get rid of that sugar out of your body...but I think we all get the CRAVING at times. Like when you pass by a certain store, see a certain ad on tv, smell certain scents and so on. For me, I found a replacement behavior to actually eating chocolate (which is a grave danger to me!) I rub coco powder on my wrist and smell it. Somehow my body thinks I'm eating it! I have also done this with cinnamon. Sometimes I want to tear the walls down due to anxiety when I want to eat more than my share. This is when I take a lonnnng epson salt bath. It helps. So sorry you have the health issues. Things WILL turn around for you!
