Well folk, I am about to begin a journey that will take me away from home for a month. I have lost a few pounds and I feel more ready to travel. My question for you, what do you suggest that I eat during my 20 hour air travel? I would like to stay away from calorie laden trail mixes, candies etc. as well as the snacks that will be offered in-flight. I found oatmeal and Khashi granola bars. I am vegan/vegetarian but would be willing to be sidetracked for awhile. Blessings on your day.

I am the guy who will get 'out of control food cravings' if I am stressed (because of travelling). The last time I had to fly I ate nothing on the flight. It was not as long as 20 hours, but I have not eaten solid food for 20 hours before. Of course you must have water. Good luck!

Nuts and seeds (high protein and "good" fat), those granola bars you mentioned, and plenty of water should do the trick. I like the Pure protein bars as well. They're high calorie for a snack bar, but they are very filling!

I find KIND bars are most natural and most feeling. String cheese will help feel the gap as well. All good protein. Have a safe trip.
