Well--it is getting closer!!! Vegas that is and I really want to be down to the 180s in 6 weeks. Ugggh...it feels like I am never going to be there. I am in size 16 pants still and it seems like I will never be dropping a pant size...I SO WANT TO BE IN A 14 or even a 12. Sheesh. i know patience! so...just a thought from me to you...PATIENCE SUCKS! :) Okay--anyway--still working out like usual except for adding more abs and arm weights and other stationary exercising. Still counting calories...but I would so love a big fat juicy burger right now...but soon I will be able to eat one when I am to the point that I want to just maintain my weight...which with PATIENCE...will be FOREVER! lol Uggh...are we sure this isn't a Monday! HA! Okay--enough stupidity from me lol. Onto my stationary exercises and me imagining my broccoli tonight is a BIG JUICY Cheeseburger and my iced tea is a margarita. lol...yeah I know...and imagine the treadmill as my sandy beach...JUST LIKE THAT SONG...SOME BEACH SOME WHERE!

Have you tried making burgers out of ground turkey breast or lean beef? Might be a little more expensive than chuck, but it's good! Boca soy burgers are worth a try too, they are really good! I never thought I would like soy but they are so satisfying when I want a burger with all the fixins. At 90 calories and 25 calories of fat a pop you could easily have a double with cheese and a little bbq sauce on a bun with all the veggies and still fit it into your diet! I have found if there is something you are dreaming about on your diet it is far better to find a decent alternative than feel deprived and eventually binge. Burgers and hot dogs used to be a vice of mine until I discoved turkey burgers and Boca, and fat free hot dogs(45 calories apeice!? are you kidding me??) with fat free cheese slices, 30 calories! Awesome for summer! Now my vices are ice cream and chocolate..but I just allow a bit every day and buy downsized versions of my favories. Single serving everything! I buy the little cups of ice cream or ice cream bars instead of hard pack. Even diet ice cream is hard to eat just a 1/2 cup of if it is in a big tub. For some reason the mini cups of regular ice cream, in a cone or with a little fat free cool whip are a lot more satifying than a larger amount of frozen yogurt. I love quality chocolate too, I can't live without Ghirridelli squares, I have one every evening normally. Not today though, I'm out of calories! oops. :)

Ok.... I was DYING for a big fat juicy cb... and one of my FS buddies recommended a garden burger. I made it (that nite) and smothered it with fat free mayo(not as good as regular, but 10 calories a tsp vs. 160), mustard, tomatoe, pickles and onion. I did use a regular bun (110 cal)and must say, it wasn't that bad. I fantasized that it was a five guys burger and that helped. smothering it with the toppings also helped. If u like mushrooms, try the portabella mushroom garden burgers. Takes 40 sec to nuke it and is only 70 calories. good luck.... don't give in....
